The “Pot of Phortune Promo” is one of the recent sprouting of consumer products initiated by banks. As expected, the post-consolidation era is one that would be characterized by aggressive marketing strategies as a means to increasing customer base. This would be evident by the rate at which consumer products are churned out by the banks, and Bank PHB is no exception.

The “Pot of Phortune Promo” is one aimed at encouraging the culture of savings in our immediate environment. Under the promotion, accounts can be opened with as little as N1000. However, qualification for the monthly draw is on the basis that account holders – both new and existing are expected to have a minimum balance of N20,000 in their respective accounts on the lat day of every months cut –off date. Existing customers are expected to deposit additional N20,000 into their accounts to qualify for the draw. The winner every month goes home with N1million, while there are 20 consolation prizes of N50,000 per individual.

Bank PHB is the product of the amalgamation of former Platinum bank plc and Habib Bank. The bank presently has some renowned professionals on their board like Prof. Pat Utomi. The bank had a good run on the floor of the stock market in the first week of this month. This was apparent , as investors picked up all available shares as at the close of the week at the rate of N2.17 . The highest their year for the institution so far has been N2.70, with a low of N1.89.

Well, if you are having some sleepless nights on how to make your first million, why no walk into any branch of Bank PHB and increase your chances of becoming one.
