Intercontinental Bank Plc has commenced a promotion to reward its loyal customers, just a few weeks after the completion of its public offer and rights issue in the country. The promotion, which is tagged ‘Happy Savers’ is targeted at both customers and non-customers of the financial institution, as they stand an opportunity to win 18 brand new Honda cars as well as lots of motorcycles.

The promotion, according to sources is aimed at celebrating customers for the confidence they have in the bank, which has impacted in its operations positively in the post-consolidation era.

Under the current arrangements, customers are expected to either open a new account with a minimum of N50,000 or deposit fresh N50,000 pinto their savings account. The account can by any of the following- Intercontinental bank Savings Account (IPSA), Happy Savers, Intercontinental Prestige Account for Children (I-PAC) or Current Account, as this would qualify them for the draw. New customers can also open new accounts with the same amount and qualify for the weekly draws.

Apart from just rewarding customer loyalty, other objectives that the bank hopes to achieve includes the need to create more awareness for the bank’s products and services, increase in the bank’s customer base and celebrating hardworking staff of the bank.
