Things are indeed looking bright for Costain West Africa plc as the company recorded a share appreciation from about N1.60 in January 2007 to N10.35 in April of the same year. The company during the same period also had a management restructure which saw a foreign based US firm acquired 45 percent stake in the company.

Only recently, the company has been linked with some series of construction contracts that if and when executed would boost their profits. Some include the buliding of a 1.5 million litres storage tank reputed to be the biggest in Nigeria, likely construction of about 3 seperate estates in NLNG Bonny amongst others.

Costain WA was the first construction company to be listed in the Construction sub-sector of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
