Nigerian Stock Exchange. List of suspended Brokers.

Before the introduction of the current minimum paid up capital requirements for all market players in the capital market, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) had given a grace period between 2004 and 2006 for every operator to recapitalise.

In 2006, a compliance audit exercise was carried out to ascertain the level of compliance by the operators. The exercise further revealed that 67 stock brokers did not comply with the exercise.

However, as at september 13,2007, the status of the stockbroking firms had changed, as the suspension on some of them were lifted, while that of others still remained unchanged. Below are a list of those who as at September 13, 2007 were still on suspension.
