Few weeks after a press release which dented the image of Transcorp Plc and consequently affected the share price, things seems to have changed rather suddenly at the rejected stone has now turned out to be the corner stone.

When the news of the reversal of the sale of NITEL to Transcorp was announced, investors began offloading their holdings in the company en mass to save themselves from big time losses before it was placed on technical suspension. One would have thought that upon resumption of trading on the stock, it would dip further by ironically, the stock has gained over 50 percent and is still on net bid.

It would be recalled that Transcorp has been a subject of concern amongst many investors for various reasons. The fact staring us in the face however is that while people have incurred losses, many other have made significant gains by investing in the company.

Thinking of buying some units?  It all depends on your risk appetite.
