BOC Gases Nigeria Plc releases results, declares 22kobo dividend.

BOC Gases Nigeria Plc a company listed on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange in the Industrial and Domestic Products sub sector has made public its audited financial results for the full year ended December 31 2007. A break down of the results just made public shows that the company’s financial performance was impressive.
Turnover for the period grew by 41.77 percent from N1.31 billion in 2006 to N1.87 billion in 2007. Profit before for the period under review moved from N0.15 billion in 2006 to N0.26 billion in 2007 signifying a 65.19 percent increase. After tax profit was however better as it appreciated by 76.74 percent from N0.12 billion in 2006 to N0.22 billion in 2007.

The company has proposed a dividend payout of 22 kobo per share to its shareholders, its closure date is 30 May, 2008 and payment date is 29 April, 2008.

BOC Gases Nigeria Plc is the pioneer manufacturer of industrial and medical gases as well as the agent to Afrox for the distribution of Arc and Gas welding products in Nigeria. The company’s products include both permanent and liquefiable gases, compressed and supplied in steel cylinders as gas or in bulk carrying cryogenic road tankers as liquid.
