UTC Nigeria Plc released their audited financial results for on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange today. Comparative analysis of the company’s turnover with that recorded in the same period last year showed that the company increased its turnover by 53.52 percent from N0.95 billion in 2006 to N1.46 billion in 2007. The company has declared a bonus issue of 1 for 10 and its closure date is 7 May, 2008.

Nestle Nigeria Plc

Nestle Nigeria Plc has released its unaudited results for the first quarter ended 31 March 2008 to the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. The company was able to move its turnover for the period under review by 14.71 percent from N10.2 billion in 2007 to N11.7 billion in 2008.
Profit before tax grew by 8.41 percent from N2.26 billion in 2007 to N2.45 billion in 2008. After tax profit for the period increased from N1.51 billion in 2007 to N1.61 billion in 2008 indicating an increase of 6.62 percent.
