By the end of todays trading activities, the All Share Index went up to 62,502.97 base points from yesterdays 62,463.66 base points. The market recorded a total of 21,016 deals involving a volume of 696,765,790 unit shares valued at N11,403,104,811.92 as against yesterdays 18,051 deals involving a volume of 550,130,912 unit shares valued at N8,634,316,565.17. The Market Capitalisation also went up to N12,119,729,487,137.02 as against yesterdays closing at N12,112,106,373,437.86.

The top traded stock of the day in a descending order were: (1) FIRSTINLND
trading a volume of 56,989,053 unit shares valued at N568,320,905.33; (2) ACCESS traded a volume of 49,770,294 unit shares valued at N1,016,406,149.48; (3) NEM traded a volume of 46,033,012 units valued at N212,714,194.47; (4) INTERCONT traded a volume of 39,576,200 units valued at N1,789,900,756.03; while (5) UNIVINSURE traded a volume of 35,693,368 units of shares, valued at N106,209,549.43
The price gainers list in descending order is as follows: (1) OANDO gained N7.99 to close at N223.00; (2) JBERGER gained N4.95 to close at N103.96; (3) 7UP gained N2.50 to close at N52.50; (4) CAP gained N2.50 to close at N52.65; while (5) CADBURY gained N1.99 to close at N44.99.
On the other hand the price loosers in descending order is as follows: (1) TOTAL lost N11.99 to close at N277.96; (2) MOBIL lost N7.01 to close at N221.00; (3) ETI lost N6.78 to close at N240.00; (4) GUINNESS lost N3.13 to close at N128.90; while (5) WAPCO lost N2.19 to close at N58.01.
