The market’s All Share Index remained flat at 62,711.56 base points same as yesterday’s figure. There was a total of 20,794 deals involving a volume of 826,199,502 unit shares valued at N14,918,332,299.36 looking more active than yesterday’s 15,978 deals involving a volume of
759,001,934 unit shares worth N12,671,857,657.77. Yet, the Market Capitalisation also remained flat at N12,160,176,881,610.38, same as yesterday’s total market stocks valuation figure.

The five most traded stocks of the day in a descending order includes: (1) IAINSURE, which traded a volume of 217,606,461 units of shares worth N356,764,567.30; (2) UBA, traded a volume of 59,340,137 units valued at N3,782,839,489.70; (3) INTERCONT traded a volume of 57,621,931 units worth N2,610,175,642.65; (4) BCC traded a volume of 37,709,891 units worth N1,887,140,987.40; while, (5) UNIVINSURE traded with 28,924,599 unit shares worth N80,030,668.40.
The top price gainers include: (1) GUINNESS, gaining N3.79 to close at N130.00; (2) ETI, gained N2.45 to close at N247.00; (3) RTBRISCOE gained N1.21 to close at N25.60; (4) PRESCO gained N1.14 to close at N24.09.
While the top losers list of the day included: (1) NESTLE losing N11.25 to close at N213.76; (2) OANDO lost N9.80 to close at N200.02.
