The Market prices generally moved downwards as indicated by the closing position of the All Share Index which went downwards to 60,527.43 base points, as against last week Friday’s 60,570.00 base points. A total of 15,766 deals involving a share volume of 444,097,553 units valued at N8,439,200,398.48 was traded today, as against last week Friday’s 17,367 deals involving a volume of 1,499,370,750 unit shares valued at N9,507,788,120.15.
The Market Capitalisation closed at N11,920,974,272,854.39, higher than last week Friday’s N11,929,418,803,348.28.

The most traded stocks in a descending order are: (1) IAINSURE which traded a share volume of 93,781,393 units valued at N198,361,856.92; (2) UBA traded a volume of 40,665,757 unit shares valued at N2,486,996,163.11; (3) INTERCONT traded with 33,330,551 units of shares worth N1,511,774,479.22; (4) UNIVINSURE traded 24,602,106 units of shares worth N65,729,072.29; while (5) FIDELITYBK
Exchanged 17,941,733 unit shares valued at N184,483,272.29.

The top price gainers list in a descending order includes: (1) OANDO which closed at N9.38 to close at N119.37; (2) FLOURMILL gained N4.20 to close at N93.00;
(3) UACN gained N2.34 to close at N52.25; while (4) PRESCO appreciated by N1.38
To close at N29.25\
On the other side, the top losers in descending order includes: (1) MOBIL which lost N10.50 to close at N119.50; (2) CONOIL lost N2.60 to close at N119.00; (3) GUINNESS lost N2.00 to close at N130.00; while (4) ASHAKACEM
Lost N1.95 to close at N40.80.
