The Market price indicator, the All Share Index again edged up to 54,905.36
as against yesterdays 53,705.30 base points. The total market shares valuation, Market Capitalisation also went up to 10,716,615,132,199.71
better than yesterday at N10,482,381,849,556.62, indicating a continued gradual recovery of the market.There was a total of 13,658 deals involving the trading of 1,236,774,565 unit shares volume, valued at N12,739,794,993.53; as against yesterdays 17,112 deals involving a volume of 983,536,948 unit shares valued at N17,294,192,905.58.

The market movers in terms of share volume in a descending order includes: (1) LAWUNION which traded a volume of 252,815,109 unit shares, valued at N1,205,970,801.36; (2) ASOSAVINGS traded a volume of 154,033,867 unit shares, valued at N574,917,922.26; (3) IANSURE traded a volume of 126,387,711 unit shares, valued at N137,762,604.99; (4) GOLDINSURE traded a volume of 78,407,282 unit shares, valued at N164,005,637.39; while (5) PLATINUM traded a volume of 67,691,320 unit shares, valued at N1,895,450,818.56.
The top price gainers in a descending order includes: (1) OANDO which gained N4.49 to close at N203.99; (2) WAPCO gained N2.40 to close at N51.60; (3) FIRSTBANK gained N1.94 to close at N40.74; (4) ASHAKACEM gained N1.93 to close at N40.67.
The top price losers , on the other hand includes: (1) NESTLE which gained N7.00 to close at N225.00; (2) ETI lost N1.29 to close at N38.71; (3) FCMB lost N0.78 to close at N15.61; while (4) DNMEYER lost N0.66 to close at N12.64
