Berger Paints Nigeria Plc manufacturers of decorative, industrial, automotive and marine paints, and putty and allied products has made available its full year results to the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. comparative analysis of the results showed that its profit after tax reached N112.6 million as against N81.7 million it recorded in 2006. Turnover for the period under review however dropped slightly from N2.3billion in 2006 to N2.2 billion in 2007.

further more Guinness Nigeria Plc has proposed to pay a special dividend payout of N6.80 Kobo to investors in its current Final Year End.This is subject to approval at the company’s extra ordinary general meeting to be held in Lagos this week. The N6.80 Kobo per 50 Kobo Ordinary Shares would amount to a total sum of N10, 029 billion.
