National Sports Lottery Plc yesterday released its second quarter results for the period ended 30 June 2008. Highlights of the results showed its turnover growing by 4300 percent from N0.079 billion in 2007 to N3.476 billion in 2008. Profit before tax during the period under review increased by 1192.31 percent from N0.234 billion in 2007 to N2.556 billion in 2008. Profit after tax also increased by 1173.95 percent from N0.238 billion in 2007 to N2.556 billion in the same period in 2008.

The paint manufacturing company also made available its second quarter results for the period ended June 30 2008 to dealing members of the Nigerian Stock exchange.
In the results turnover grew by 15.92 percent from N0.961 billion in 2007 to N1.114 billion in 2008. Profit before tax increased from N0.03 billion in 2007 to N0.050 billion in 2008 indicating an increase of 66.67 percent. After tax profit also increased by 66.67 percent from N0.021 billion in 2007 to N0.035 billion in 2008.
