Aiico insurance Plc, Neimeth Plc declare results.

Yesterday Aiico insurance plc released its unaudited second quarter results for the period ended 30th June 2008 to the floors of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Highlights of the results showed that it grew its turnover by 112.86 percent to N1.812 billion. Profit before tax increased to N645 million showing an increase of 135.46 percent. After tax profit also soared by 135.46 percent to N246 million. Despite the outcome of its results its share price declined by 2.52 percent in the market.

Neimeth Plc.

Neimeth plc also released its unaudited second quarter results for the period ended 30th June 2008. In the results turnover moved to N348.89 million during the period indicating a 12.65 percent growth. Profit before tax increased by 152.23 percent to N30.442 million, while after tax profit stood at N20.701 million showing an increase of 135.52 percent.
