The All Share Index closed at 43,742.02 base points, same as yesterday’s figure. There was a total of 5,453 deals involving a volume of 244,912,452 unit shares valued at N1.153 billion; as against previous days 6,252 deals, involving a total of 252,293,173 unit shares valued at N2.948 billion. The Market Capitalisation closed at N9.314 trillion same as yesterday’s figure. However, Cornerstone Insurance Plc and Roads Nigeria Plc had their stocks placed on technical suspension for bonus and dividend purposes, respectively.

The most traded stocks of the day included: (i) LASACO which traded a volume of 76,338,442 unit shares valued at N139,699,348.86; (ii) IANSURE traded a volume of 54,013,500 unit shares valued at N39,969,990.00; (iii) DIAMONDBNK traded a volume of 20,480,382 valued at N214,224,795.72; (iv) MBENEFIT traded a with volume of 10,221,010 unit shares valued at N25,245,894.70; while (v) UNIVINSURE traded a volume of 8,968,944 unit shares valued at N11,390,558.88.
There were only two price gainers of the day which includes: (i) EKOCORP which gained N0.32 to close at N6.89; and (ii) DUNLOP which gained N0.03 to close at N2.00.
On the other hand the price losers of the day in a descending order includes: (i) UBN which lost N0.39 to close at N39.18; (ii) ZENITHBANK lost N0.33 to close at N33.21; (iii) BOCGAS lost N0.26 to close at N26.59; while (iv) FIRSTBANK lost N0.25 to close at .
