Hi Avocado,

I have tried to answer the questions as much as I can.....

The attachments show the end of trade as I just took them tonight; however they constantly change when NSE is in session.

Let me start with the second screenshot which is the Today’s report. It is constantly updated during the trading day. If you continue to refresh the screen, you will see how the intra day prices are moving up and down. It will also show how many trades have been done at the time with the volume and price.

The beauty of this report is that you can run the report for any day in the past even for the same time last year or two year ago (Goes back to year 2000)

The first report (Daily summary) is very similar but shows a snapshot of the trades at a point in time. And it is only for the current day. It also does not show the intra day price

The Summary:

As you will aware the prices changes constantly during the day as demand and supply come into play so the trades is just a number of the total trades in the day, the price shown will be the last price when the snapshot was taken and the volume is the total volume sold. But the total value is the summation of the each trade multiplied by the price at which the trade was done.
