Bankers' confirmation
Yes most times the registars ask for bankers confirmation which is used to verify your signature. So usually the bank you bank with will write a letter confirming your signature which your broker then takes together with your share certificate to the registrar.
If you are not resident in nigeria it is important to always maintain contact with your account officer to help you speed up the process. ( i also think most banks charge for this letter).it is not just getting your certificate that matters it is very important to be able to verify quickly to ask to cash in if you want to sell.
Hope this answers your question
