in addition, we pray for stock prices to rise particularly for those stocks we have taken positions even when such companies (stocks) are not working for profitability.

that is a new twist. lol!!!

actually we need to pray for the best cos of systemic risks, political risk chief amongst them. being that we are approaching the transition to another regime. I am uncertain of future govt policies and sustainability of implemented ones, though i ave not forgotten that Nigeria have grown o'er the years (but the adage goes a fool at 40 is a fool forever, so.....)

oga kod, thanks for the moderation. it annoys me when we take development issues out of context in the name of prayer. Yes, we must pray. But also, we need to work to overcome our underdevelopment.:

Now I know where SKYE BANK been dey 'SEE'/s their UNmade profit. They suddenly lost the ability2 " riran" (see) when this guy came 2 WEMA.

what if they gave the forecast so that u will sell down and price will fall so that some of them( insiders) will buy low?

What is wrong with the forecast? Have you considered that forecasts are quarterly number?
