Default access bank at 14.90

I was among the people thinking access is overvalued at its selling price, but after I saw a 725 percent increse in profits I was rushing to my brokers to fill a form. Summary access bank is a buy for me.

Without mincing words, Access offer is a very good one. According to their prospectus and forecasts, it even has higher returns, eps and dy than FBN coupled with the very attractive pricing.

The only problem would be if the accounts have been very well cooked. Apart from that, the offer is hot!! but then again its banking and certs take like forever to come out.

i am glad the forum is back too!!!

Personally I think that if the results Access offered to the market is correct, then its cheaper than Fidelity. Remember the expected results will be expected to be better than the previous ones when you factor in the procceds of the offer.

Unhappy Access Bank PO

Hello folks,

I am brand new to this site and I'm enjoying it pretty well.

I recently opened a CSCS account with diamondbank securities and was given both a CHN number and a CSCS account number.

Now, I am trying to subscribe to the Access bank PO online and have been asked to enter my CSCS number. Between the CHN number and CSCS account number, which is the CSCS number required here? What number do I enter? Due to time difference, I have been unable to get my brokers on phone, and they wouldn't reply my emails.

Will appreciate your response.

@ Obinna D
What you are required to give is the CSCS number and not the CHS number

CCNN is a no no for me!!!!!!!!!

Access is looking good provided they can meet the profit forecast.

Default Access - A Buy

From a careful study of Access bank performance iI'd route for the stock. I had earlier in this forum suggest that i may not invest in the stock, my analysis proved me wrong. in addition, the management of the company knows how to manage the price of the stock through shares buyback to prevent the the stock from falling below what is a reasonable price for a good performing company like Acces. Acccess is a buy for me.

Okay o, we keep the share price up by buying back instead of good performance skyrocketting the share price. That to me is a bold minus! Can Access bank come out in the open and say that is what they do with shareholders' money? They should do business not manipulate stocks. No wonder they are posting more than 700% growth! Wayo, real fa fa fa foul!

Here is a review of Access bank by Proshare uploaded elsewhere on this site.

I learnt that the rights issue of CCNN is on. How can I apply for my rights as I did not get any prospectus from them as in practice

CCNN Rights closes on Monday. Contact your stockbrokers and/or the registrars if you've not received the formal notice. 30 March 2007 is the cut-off date for qualification for the Rights.

Cheers.
