@dr dowell I hope you exited Unity at the right time when it reached N1.00. It now seems to find support at about N0.86. Are you planning to go back in, or are your fears of bad results still strong? Which do you think will have beta results, Wema or Unity?

I exited unity bank long ago and pushed the money to Nem plc. Presently I am enjoying the ride at Nem. I will rather reframe the question like this. Unity bank and wema bank which one will produce the worse result? I think Wema bank will b/cos presently the latest result is (-) while unity 3rd quarter is 8K.

Thanks Bros. I too do not see how Wema can make up a -ve 1.8b in Q4 and produce anything comparable to Unity. But you never know. Books, like yams, are cook able.

I think the only problem with Unity is the shares outstanding of over 38b, which is the highest in the sector. Without that it is easily comparable to the performance of, say, Sterling Bank, at least EPS wise.

Strong reversal here and Wema today. The brokers are up to something I think, and risk takers should take note.

The funny thing is that i decided to take a big risk or would u say gamble in unity by purchasing it @.70k......Definately i would exit at my own time....i am coming to join you guys in the NEM bus big very soon...

Make haste while the sun shines. Join us quickly before your broker starts telling you "not available". You can delay if you have an "agbero" broker , those ones can get any stock for you under any market situation.

There is no hard or fast rule on investing in the market. The only rule is don't loss money.

Oga manemi, I can't see much value in here, maybe someone wants to become a director or it is a pump and dump scam. The following is all I can see brewing here. Unity Bank Plc. 3rd quarter EPS = .08k, and when you compares the bank's 3rd quarter 2012 EPS of the average insurance 3rd quarter you will definitely know that nothing is brewing here, NEM Insurance = 27k. Custodian & Allied Insurance =22k. Aiico Insurance =15k. Sovereign Trust =15k. Mansard Insurance =12k. Prestige Insurance =10k. Continental Re =8k.
