I wouldnt go near UBA with a 10ft pole, but can anyone tell me why, UBA has operating income of N138 billion, but operating expense of N107.7 Billion.

thats 77.5 % of operating income. what gives, whats driving these expenses?

Start by runing a background check of the number and emolument level of their board of BOD's, ED's and D-ED's then down the ranks. Also consider their non-turnover cum non real profit generating whole African interest and expansion drive.

Expense is where corruption also dwells! Na normal occurrence for private sector! Don't look at salaries for workers o! Just check maintenance,rents,supplies for running of the bank and many more expenses used with the company.

And not forgeting the diesel fuel rackets(cost of power generation) that are done by some self employed people and the bank members of staff. They all add up!
