Firstly, it is not advisable to abandon at the point of maximum loss, how low could Skye fall further? I really don't think it will be much.

You're at 20% loss, I doubt the likely loss can go past 30-40%.

Secondly, assuming your stop loss is 20%, what will you buy? or will you hold cash?

Looking at this market, the stocks I would like to buy have not taken significant beating, Zenith, Diamond, Dangote cement, Vitafoam, CCNN, Redstar, Eterna, so I am just waiting and watching.

Why did the Turnover between 2010 and 2011 spike upwards and it decreased in 2012. I want to believe the problem started between 2010 YE and 2011 YE. and that had led to them wanting to do 1 for 1 rights just to reduce finance cost by paying off debts.Just check it well sha. Don't be fooled by the dividend!
Oga mi, many thanks for this insight, I didn't look as far back as 2007 and 2010. I would say 3 or 4 things endeared me to this Stock. The 3 amigos are flashing BUY BUY BUY.

I also like the industry or their products, these are consumer products required in all homes, hotels, hospitals, hostels etc. I think the growing middle class of a growing population will prefer Vitafoam products to their competitors. ( my perception really)

Negative for me is the planned right offer which suggest a possible over valuation. I am not fooled by dividend, its an information though, but it doesn't bother me.

Bros, look well, well. backwards like Oga Oracle suggested, and this had always been my approach to most stocks,........and dont forget Vitafoam's misadventure into Vono......more than two years, nothing dey happen.......and it was the beginning of their problems......throwing good money after bad one.

They are also into S/Leone expansion.....so, purse don dey over-stretched hence consideration of rights offering.......Now, i think you now know where they are coming from

Temptation my brother. Dangcem is 25% of NSEASI. Rather than 2,000 units in many places, what about 2,000 units here and a bet on the NSEASI quasi - index?

@House

Does CSL still provide registry services for Skye Bank? If yes, are they still at Primrose towers? If no, does anyone know who the new registrar is and her co-ordinates.

Need to stop them trading with my dividend!

Fire a PM to Horlads. He is the new owner of CSL (now CSP) Registrars.
