Pls i need someone to enlighten me on share reconstruction,and its dynamics.especially how it can affect the share price of the company

The price goes up by the reconstruction exchange ratio. So if a company has 1,000 shares outstanding @ N4/shares and does a 1 for 10 reconstruction, then the shares outstanding would be 100 and the new price would be N40/share
