Post Re: Share certificates

You needn't be in such a hurry to get your certificates. If you know the Nigerian
PO system well enough i think you should know that you still have a while to wait for your Access and Dangoteflour certificates.

Besides, I believe you know that you'll be getting returned money for your Dangoteflour subscription if you bought more than 1,000 units of shares.

Default Access

Even there is gonna be return money from Access bank.
You`ll get 60% of your subscription.
This private placement is not becoming another issue.
And the registrars are not helping the matter in tactically delaying the issuance of certs

Wao, so we have been waiting in vain-Bob Marley.
I won't buy anything from Nija any more. It's better to build houses than wasting time for Nija IPO. 60% of Access Bank and 1000 shares of DMF is rudiculous.Well, the've got the knife and the bread, but it won't be forever.
In 1990-1992 when vendors will tell you that you must buy certain combinations of certain papers, like Guardian/Tide, I told them it won't be forever, not long they were begging to buy any,as we had more free readers than the entire papers. Food for thought. "Whatever goes up must come down"

My brother it is true that what ever goes up would certainly come down (but scientist and technologist may have different opinion on this), it's almost no longer attractive buying stocks from the primary market; no thanks to the delays experienced before one gets the certificates and getting them verified. A newer trend now is the rate at which the offers are being over subscribed and investors money repatriated to them with mega interests and enough delays.

But i tell you getting stocks from the secondary market is less stressful compared with the former. If one has info on a company's desire to approach the primary market on time he could take advantage of the stocks, if well time you could make over 100% gain. A good example is Japaul: they came shopping at 6.02 today it is 12.91.

my brother,
i don't know what is wrong with the Registrars. I was there and they gave me a form to fill and take it also to where i bought it so that they will put their seal for me in order to enable them issue a new certificate for me, but when I went to Union Bank where i bought it they refuse and say they no longer do so.

I don't know what to do am planning to go bak to the Registrars.

My Sister, I think the form is the indenmity form that you have. You can take it to your bankers or insurer (if you have life insurance) so they can indenmify you. You will also need to get an affidavit in court and a police extract.

Done this for some missing certificates too.

But do we really have to do these just because we decided to subscribe?
I thought there was a policy for defaulting registrars?
