You dey see the impact of Lakatabu and the new Electric power efficiency in the company.

For me, the main balanced scorecard for this present Executive arm of Govt is their ability to deliver improved generation and transmission capacity in the power sector. If this is achieved, people go see the impact!

Sir Overload, I thought it was you and the Chairman that were either taking more stakes or divesting. Maybe we should ask Sir KOD then.

Projected pe is now 11 , ROE is 33% , very nice. However, revenue grew a meagre 6%, cost of sales flat, but admin expenses gone up. In fact, take way the tax break and you see roughly maybe 15% improvement in PAT.

This is still good though, but compare them to Dangote Cement where revenue is growing in excess of 50%, while cost of sales is even going down, the CORE busienss is doing well. Which would you pick?

Methinks DANGCEM

Never really been a fan of Dangote cement!

i value corporate governance when picking my stocks and as such Lafarge would always come before Dangcem in the cement sector for a long term bet!
