Default Costain Year End Result

I just saw Costain's result for the year ended 31st March 2008 in today's Guardian. in billions

...................2008................2007

Turnover.......3.814................3.016
PBT..............0.382................0.11
PAT..............0.353................0.108

No dividend to be paid. This is expected as it was contained in their offer prospectus.

First of All, Welcome back from Space because that is the only place you could have been without news about the global financial crisis and still expect our NSE to grow by a magical 50%

How I Wish that there is no Gravity in the NSE as there is none in Space, then the market would grow by 60% like you said by the time you return .

If the more than 100% increase in the PAT I Saw is correct then I Think the Management of this company has done a good job regardless of what it translates to in EPS and dont forget that they never planned to pay any dividend from this full year EPS.

And Yes I Think an investor in company should be upbeat because I remember how for years this company was under reporting only Huge Losses but if the current tempo is maintained then hopefully investors will smile.

I Am expecting Subsequent results from this company to be better than that of last year..
