Thanks yodiyokun

One key message i got from the link is that the company has no plans to pay dividend for this financial year. I think buying from the PO would be better since it will be given at a discount. It's just that one can't tell how high the current price will rise before it is placed on technical suspension.
Moreover, from the FSDH site, it says their year end is September. I guess they will want to use their year end result to boost the figures for their upcoming offer

Yes, I believe March 31st is correct. I verified the information with multiple sources.

Yes buying into constain looks to be a good deal if all the outstanding contracts they claim to have is true but i would really prefer to deal on the secondary market, that is take possition before the P.O. comes out. Problem is, no one knows if the current rally will continue and if will drop before the P.O i think it is good for 16-17 naira on the floor.

Just placed an order for some quantities. I don't think the price might come down to the 16-17 naira you are thinking. the publicity in the papers is not helping matters bcos the price is just rising. I hate getting into a stock when the price is rising but i guess i don't have a choice. this one is long term for me.

Apache bro...you always have a choice. In this case, you can wait until the frenzy subsides, or buy off the PO since its ong term for you. Its your cash, its your call.....& we always have choices. Dont forget that.

I think the main point i wanted to get is if it is a good buy which has already been established, and if buying at the current price will be too high in terms of PEs and other technical valuations.

The share price of Costain has been suspended on the exchange and they are coming out with a public offer of =N=13 and a rights issue of =N=11. Can't mait to see their prospectus. I think this is one offer i will definitely participate in

Please does any one have an idea of the exact date Costain is coming out? I've been hearing this public offer for a long time?

I heard they had some issues with SEC and the offer document was not approved. They have been sent back to rework and tidy up some issues raised by SEC hence the delay.
