As regards transcorp, it may just be best to "let this sleeping dog lie". The outlook I see is quite moribund.

I also wish globacom should forget about their bid for this company and focus on building theirs, it may take more than a fortune to revive nitel.
Sometimes it may just be better to build a house from scratch instead of trying to rebuild a very faulty one.

Saw a photograph of Mr. Nicholas Okoye in one of the dailies and beneath the said pix was this: "Acting GMD Transcorp". Has anyone heard this info? Remember Mr. Okoye is the main visioner of the Transcorp idea...and he was forced out of the conglomerate after some disagreements(later came out with the much publicised Anabel Mobile phones). So is he really back to Transcorp?

Don't know much about Transcorp, but I thought he was one of the major problems?

Please i want to know when the transcorp share certificates will be out. Iam James Ezenwa, and I bought transcorp shares in 2006/7 from the United bank for Africa Allen Avenue, but unfortunately I lost the evidence of payment.

Till date I have received any certificate to that effect or any other thing indicating that I bought the said shares.
Please what steps do I have to take now to find out.

if you're planning to enter because of its valuation i think there are better penny stocks out there

What other investments, (other than Nitel and Transcorp Hilton,) is Transcorp in?

Transcorp share certificates has since been distributed over two years ago. I remember the certificates. If you have not collected yours then complain to their registrars and ask about how to go about replacing the cetificate. Even if you lost the evidence of payment, your name should be on the shareholders list if yourr application was accepted. Have you recieved any mail from Transcorp?

This is politics of bitterness on display. Some powerful forces has sworn to destroy Transcorp and they are stopping at nothing to achieve their aim. First they went after the oil well, stamped it out and went for Nitel, took them long to dislodge Transcorp from Nitel but they succeded at last. Now they are moving for the jugular, making a move for Nicon hotel will be their last strike.

I wonder why the present govt is standing aside watching as a registered company is decimated in broad daylight. Makes me wonder what the identities of the 'tormentors' are?

I know I got my certificate from Afribank Registras.
Try these numbers:012692094, 017735967, 017735963.

You can also call Stanley on 08033443707[don't know if he's still with them]. He it was who helped me get my PP certificate.

Exactly, a little research will show penny stocks that actually rise up from their slumber for a little while before they fall back to earth again...I personally regard anybody that buys Transcorp at this period as a 'serial grave robber', they usually earned about 10X other investors pay because they usually have the believe that 'dry bones' shall rise again, goodluck to them
