CSCS Special Account

I was not aware of this services from cscs till I visited cscs office at custom street lagos last month( wonderful but strenuous journey). I would encourage peaple who are having problems with thier stock brokers to use this service from cscs. more info on cscsnigerialtd.com though not currently working probably upgrading their website or.............

Please can the more experienced person(s) on this FORUM advise we green horns whether to really create this Special CSCS Accounts or should stay glued with the normal CSCS account with our stockbrokers?

I have already seen the pros and cons on the website of CSCS but please, besides those sweet-talks on the website, I definitely need a practical user to please advise....

Stick to the normal account. The special account is good if you are a very long player and with a very large portfolio. The special account makes your broker unfriendly and you lose the flexibility of trading your shares. Paper work involved before you can sell anything.

Hello Pumping,

Could you please let me know how I can go about opening a CSCS account. I am not currently in Nigeria and I don't have any broker or registrar in Nigeria. All the shares I bought online were posted to a Nigerian address. Now I understand I need a CSCS number so that I can transfer all the shares to the CSCS account.

Can I get the application form and submit online? Please do let me know. Thanks.
