KOD, If you use N31.104b in ur quarter -to quarter calculation, there will not be growth comparing with 2010 Q2. It then means u must have used N21.104b for the Turnover(as can be seen on proshare site) for u to be able to see growth on Q2 2010 and Q2 2009. I think N31.104b should be replace with N21.104b. And when that is done, there would be Turnover growth in the report shown above.

A closer look beyond the P&L statement shows a company that is well run. Asset turnover has risen 2.44x though I must confess that I am a bit worried about their inventory turnover that is dropping. They are currently deleveraging as evidenced by the reduction in liabilities, thereby reducing the financial risk faced by the company. They seem to be struggling with margins though... seems as if they had to reduce price in order to drive volume growth.
The cow is going to experience limited bleeding.

Unilever has lost almost 20% in price since the release of its Q3 results which showed a decrease in profit of 16% Q on Q, with a forward PE of 24.65. How far down must it go to be bargain? UACN in the same sector has a PE of 12.73.

Unilever Nigeria Plc: Board Changes
Unilever Nigeria PLC has notified The Exchange of the appointment of Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe as the newly appointed Chairman of the company. Igwe Nnaemeka, The Obi of Onitsha has a B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry from Stanford University; Stanford California and a Masters Degree (MBA) from Columbia University, New York. He has worked as senior management and executive management levels in Shell International Limited and other organizations within and outside the country. Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu is 70 years old.

December 21, 2011 The Company has notified The Exchange of the appointment of Mrs. Abidemi Ademola as Company Secretary following the exit of the current Company Secretary by December 31st, 2011. Mrs. Ademola is a Fellow, Institute of Chartered Secretary & Administrators, graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife in 1994 with 2nd class Upper Division in Bachelor of Laws, Barrister At Law at Nigerian Law School in 1995 and Masters At Law specializing in Company & Commercial Law (LLM) at University of Lagos in 2000. She started with Unilever Nigeria Plc as a Corper in 1995; became Assistant to Company Secretary/Legal Adviser between 1997 and 2002; and in 2002 to date was elevated to the position of General Counsel (Head of Legal), Unilever Nigeria Plc. Mrs. Abidemi Ademola is a multi-skilled legal/compliance professional and business manager who possess an analytical mind with proven expertise in both corporate and law practice. She is married with children. Her appointment takes effect from January 1st, 2012.
