I dont have any stock in this firm so i dont have much details about them, but i i'd like to know if its true that cost of loans is whats killing them. Please i'd like to hear from people who have their annual reports. Cause if it is, then this is a good move

Cadbury nigeria plc was placed on technical suspension on monday june 29, 2009, following receipt of an application to undertake a supplemetary share offering by the nigerian stock exchage (nse).

Just reading about this now, I expect things to start taking shape at cadbury once again wuth this new guys on the board. However I find the intended rights issue to existing shareholders to 'pay off debt' quite disturbing. Does anyone have an idea when they intend to implement the rights issue ?

If you scroll up the page a bit you would notice Cadbury are still in Loss territory (have been declaring loss for some quarters now).
Buy if you would wish to wait maybe 2-5 years before your reap the benefits of your investments..

Factor in time for PO certifcates etc..
