I read that Universal Insurance is being listed by way of introduction what does this mean? Can we still buy the shares? (is it a good stock?) Please can someone put me thru. thx

I think they will be coming with an IPO at 1.85naira, this month. at the moment, the stock seems scarce and maybe u will have to wait for the IPO, or u ask ur stockbroker to help u out.

It means that the offer has been concluded and the shares will be listed on the exchange. You can get the shares on the NSE as the company started trading yesterday. Call your broker if you are interested, but beware sha o, u should look left, right and center before you leap

guys, we can't keep opening a new thread when we have a quaetion to as k about a particular stock when there's already an existing thread discussing issues on the same stock. This will make discussions fragmented and points might be missed out.
Please can we continue this on the Universal insurance thread and always try to make sure that when opening a new thread, an old thread on the same issue does not already exist.
It's easy, just search for it or check within the forums to see if it already exists

This is an important point. Recently, needless and duplicative threads have been opened anyhow. We should try to refrain from this and those responding to inquiries should make sure that such inquiries are not contained in a freshly duplicated (or just needless) thread.

Hello good people,

there are some insurance company i need some one to give me some info about. They are ACENINS and Regency Alliance (which is bout listing it's shares in the secondary markrt). I am looking at placing some big buck (not big for some members) on them.
