but know harm you simple but high, you should try to buy low. Dont jump in to what is avaliable like i twice did some few months ago. remember the brokers mean no harm, they just have to market and sell what they have to you who wants to buy. As with insurance stocks generally they are going up on a medium and long term so dont be worried just set you exist price and stick to it when it gets there. |

Davanchy, I am in the same boat too, I recently bought 50,000 units of Sovereign Trust Insurance @N6.00, February to be precise. Hopefully, I believe if one is in it for a long term it might pay off.
I reside in the UK, and I am trying to dip into the 'Niger' stock market scene. I bought Intercont. Bank IPO around 3 years ago spending around £200, and this year its now worth around £900. On a related issue, I will like some views from memebers especially the older and wise heads as per another stock my stock broker bought for me. Diamond Bank (bought 20,000) @N21.90, and I have to say that the current performance on the market for both Sovereign Ins and Diamond Bank has not been too impresive. I hope say I no throw way money o! Funky Dreads |

Fellow investors / Traders ?,
You need to define your investment horizon (Short,Medium or long) b/4 purchase. If you can give the same time horizon you gave to intercontinental, then of course you have not thrown your money away, but if you want planwell type of money, then you in for a hard time.Just to chip in one of the drivers in diamond slow walk is the December FYE imposed by CBN. All eyes are on GTB to see if they will break the jinx and the rally for the banks.........Obiosky |
