Well...yes maybe entry charges by your stockbroker....given that the stock is well positioned @50kobo, there is no opportunity cost in waiting will ur CSCS account gets credited with the rights issue...but then why do you want to buy STACO...

as one of there major shareholder that you are, you maintain your 50+& holding structure that you have and in addition,you have benefit of not paying commission on purchase to any broker but still you've got to factor in waiting time before your account is credited

i consider 2009 a very tough year for for the insurance industry due to the meltdown and believe that the financial sectors will perform better in 2010. stock price will be better in 2010 than in 2009 since most insurance put their money in stock,, returns will be better. Stoco is one of my frefared bc having being able to end a tough 2009 with an audited profit of over N400M and with a 2nd q of 700m and outstanding share of 5.3b i expect a full yr PAT not worse dan N1b give an approximate eps of 20k which with PE of 5 be N1.

Anyway, i av prefrence for stocks dat have the probability of retuning 100%+

in q1 2011 we will be expecting the 2010 result even though it may not be release till June/July, investors will start taking positions awaiting full yr result.
