Regulators must put in a lot of deterrent until the directors wouldn't give a hoot about late submission of results.

Lessons learnt; do not over-expose yourself to any coy no matter how fantastic the prospect looks. There are too many variables that cannot be foreseen as at the time of investment. Like Oga Afolabi, not more than 2000 units or 20% of my equity portfolio can go into any single coy even if they are minting dollars.

Because that will be insane and people will be in jail (with SFO to keep them company) before that happens. This is a publicly traded company being run like a private comapny for crying out loud

in the UK,

Companies Act - Late Filing Penalties

HOW LATE ARE THE ACCOUNTS DELIVERED Private Company PLC
Not more than one month £150 £750
More than one month but not more than three months £375 £1500
More than three months but not more than six months £750 £3000
More than six months £1500 £7500
They are also charged by NSE. they pay N5,000 per day

And in a month( 30 days) you pay 150,000( more like £600)
In 3 months(90 days), they pay N450,000( more like £1,800)
In 6 months(180 days), they pay N900,000( more like £3,600).

So it is almost the same!

But they don't give a damn so long as it is not their money that it is being deducted!
