Yes! Return is poor. Rights @ .55 and market price hovers btw .88 to 1.0. So why not take the right and sell later than wait for dvdnd. Am trying to see beyond poor retuns and work wth market price.

Apparently, if you believe in the company, a better strategy is to sell what you have now and use the proceeds to procure your rights and buy extra rights on the floor. that way you will own more shares in wapic altogether...

There's usually a cut off date to determine those who own 'rights' and that cut off date is usually so many weeks before the offer starts. So if you bought on the floor two weeks before the rights opened for instance , it's not likely you will qualify for the rights...

Selling your original shares when the rights issue has commenced will not deny you of your rights if you qualified...
