Good result in my mind...compared to many other insurance coys results...even better than coys like Mutual Benefits, Cornerstone, etc. Hopefully it'll move above the 50k mark sometime soon.

Does anyone know what is happening to Investment & Allied Assurance Company Plc at this time. This stock price has been at 0.5 for a long while now. Is the company still operating or has she gone underground. Secondly, is this company different from IA insurance? Thanks for any info on this in advance.

I believe they are stil in biz, investors just don't want to pay more than 50k for a share. I believe IAA is also Investment & Allied Assurance Company Plc

Anyway i bought some shares of IA Insurance in 2008 from the floor, no dividends, no mails, no communication so far, i really doubt if they are still operating. the quote on NSE is still N0.50. Does anyone know anything about them. thanks again.

I think the recent high volumes traded on universal insurance should mean that they want to re-structure or split the outstanding volume they have(16billion). So people may be dumping cos they fear that after the split, it would still fall to 50kobo. Maybe they just want to do what IAA did too.
