Enough of this back and forth argument. To me, he should invest in good stocks that can pay dividends and have the tendency to appreciate. He can use the money made to start the village house and gradually complete it. He does not need to finish it in one year. He can project building and finishing it in 3 years. He is already socially challenged by his brothers. If his brothers had not built, then no wahala but they have built. So he needs to build especially if he is the senior. You might see it as not making economic sense but that is society and culture for you unless he will never visit his village.
