the stock market is not the same as the money market. You do not earn "interest" in the stock market like you do when you put money in bank. The gains you get from investing in the stock market are from "dividend" and "capital appreciation". There is no mathematical formula to determine how much a company will pas as dividend or you much the stock price will appreciate. You need to do your homework and research the stocks you wish to buy.
