how is this handled at cscs/broking firm

i previously have some shares i bought thro ipos-oceanic,afribank,intercontinental,oando etcnow i trade actively with a short term intention on my mind.if broker buys any of shares i already own,say 100 units of oando and broker buys 200units subsequently ,does it add to this hundred and make 300 in my cscs account.
remember brokers trade is daily and if i dont authorise sale of my 100units can they tamper with it? i need advice so as to discuss this observation more knowledgebly.thanks guys am waiting
