"Nigerian state bonds are tax-exempt and all, except those of Lagos, are backed by an irrevocable standing payment order (ISPO) from the Ministry of Finance, which deducts coupon and principal payments from the amounts the states receive from the overall budget" any state that want to issue bound should abide by this

Thank you very much.

Bond investment is suddenly available to retail investors like us after the yields had fallen from 16.5% about 6 months go to about 11% sub-inflation. After they have taken their fill and enjoyed all the capital appreciation, they can now come and sell all the lemons to us.

Well, at all at all na im bad pass!

we go manage the small wey remain..afterall its still a better deal than the fixed deposits in banks. well hopefully there will still be some primary auctions soon which we will also have access to through this market abi?

We have all had access to FGN bond primary auctions with a minimum of N10,000.
