Will it be traded on the floor of the NSE. If so, when will that start?

What are you looking for? Many companies on NSE at the moment based on 'MY' analysis using some very basic parameters and with some arbitrary cut-offs, are not good to buy at the moment. Are you speculating or trading? Are you investing or just playing around. What do you want to buy for? Capital appreciation or dividend? Virtually ALL the banks do not qualify for a short term buy at the moment, or rather some other companies in other sectors qualify more. However when you factor in name, association and reputation, you may still go ahead and buy some banks. Look deeper and try to do some analysis yourself. Proshare has some nice slides to guide you.http://www.proshareng.com/learntoearn/index.php You can visit my homepage to see the 27 stocks I picked. these were based on my own analysis and research.

I advise you don't conclude ur decision yet on Skye bank.
I'm not a friend to Skye but I feel you should not be rigid about your favourite companies as more research may still proof them inefficient and may pose other (despised) company more effective.
I think the stock business should be played like politics where you probably can't name an enemy openly but rather play along, because if you do, you would be closing your eyes to the bad times and a good time may also pass-by unnoticed.

Wink Watch And Pray For Your Investment

Yes o, remember NPF(no permanent friend) vs NPE(no permanent enemy)(1-1 goaless draw! ). If you keep any permanent, when yawah gas, dem no go tell you and na so you go dey hang on to shares meanwhile others don sell finish. just be on the lookout for good prospects or trends and be ready to grab a piece. Even if the company has a long pedigree of good performance, and you have purchased it for retirement, WATCH AND PRAY.

Thanks dear one for your kind reply to my private mail. Quite instructive, I must say. Just wondering. Have you at any time taken a keen look at NASCON, Tripple Gee, C & I Leasing, Japaul Oil, Afroil, Livestock Feeds, Neimeth and John Holt, by way of analysis. I will respect your opinion about those stocks. My present Portfolio is too highly swayed towards the financial sector and am just wondering if the above could be considered going by the fact that they seem to me to be Penny stocks with good rally so far this year. Thanks again for your good contribution to this lively group. We Nigerians are capable of kind gestures, we must not let that escape us any time. Regards to your family. Elvis

Talking Highly recommended

Hello guys, my name is folashade and this is my first time of addding a mail to this forum. However, i want to commend on all your effort, recommendation, analysis, and contribution towards a better and a more sincere way of making money. Well done.

I shall continue to follow up with all your comments with regards to the buying and selling of shares, stocks, bunds and what have you. Since this is not my actual field of discipline, i have decided to pick up some materials to keep me informed and in the nearest future, will be sharing with you my knowledge. And of course, we can have a mini or start a mini club where we can get together occasionally to discuss constructively on matters and area of interest to all the members of the club. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you all about your opinion.

Best regards,

If you are investing wealth you already have and need to diversify your funds, then this will be right up your ally! Otherwise, if your intention is to build your wealth, and you know exactly what you are doing, then the stock market offers you far better returns.

With the proposed dividend payouts for this year alone (N19.72 per unit) by December, if you have 5000 units, you will get N98,600 in dividends. These units would have set you back N500,000.

On the other hand
