I have heard about Arm discivery and IBTC but dont know how their payoff and duration of dividends is. I use FSDH (Coral Growth Fund) and IBTC. I invested in both around the same time (Feb 2005) and so far, the IBTC fund has done a lot better than the FSDH fund. IBTC is up by about 140%, while the FSDH fund is up by 90%or so. IBTC pays dividend once a year I believe; I am not sure about FSDH though. Hope this helps

If you want someone to invest for you i.e. a Fund manager then honestly you might want to consider increasing the amount from 500k (that is if you're able at this time and If not I will use this opportunity to ask the Good Lord to bless you abundantly). The fund managers I've spoken to Including IBTC and ARM typically require higher minimum investments (although I think ARM has an appropriate product). I have a Fund manager friend at ARM and if you pm me your email add, I'll get him to email you with the details of buying into one of their funds.

You are welcome to this forum. I can see that this is your first post. Firstly, you need to look at thread name before you post to that thread. This is to enable us put square peg in a square hole and for future reference purposes. There are many threads on this forum. This one in particular is for fund manager. There is another thread for stock brokers. Post questions to the appropriate place. With that, the forum member will answer your question. We have a rule of not answering anybody who post wrongly into another thread. This is just to educate you. Once again you are welcome. |

Wow, that's a lot of money.
What're your expectations from 500K? How long do you want to trade with this money? Is it for a particular project or ...? These are some of the questions I need to know. IBTC is doing extremely well in terms of mutual fund, apparently it's the highest priced in the market. ARM Discovery is doing well too. My fear is that the ROI are not very high for someone who's on the 'speed lane'. Otherwise they are guaranteed, you can sleep with both eyes closed while your money is working for you. They do the analysis for you, take the risk but like I said you can do better while trading in secondary market in one year. AIMS Asset Mgt Ltd is another good one, the advantage with that is the bi-annual statement for the performance of stocks invested, very transparent. Shares (quoted on NSE) purchased are seen on the statement. Wish you all the best. Cheers. |

Hi,
saw ur post. There are several fund managers you can select from. From IBTC to Coral to ARM etc. I know much about ARm and the funds they have to offer, their track record and managerial prowes. The ARM aggressive growth fund, one of ARM's latest babies has returned close to 200% from 2006 to date. recently, they declared a dividend of 8.50k per share. If you wish to know more, you can reach me on matthew.ameh@armdiscoveryfund.com or call 08064146739. Thanks |
