Default Is the market waking up?

people i've been watching the market 4 the past two days now and alot of stocks are appreciating while those depreciating are comparatively few. Is the market waking up? Is it due to some good results that are bein released? what do we think is driving this? or is it just another temporary wave? comments from our experts are very much welcome.

The bulls seem to be back... Let's see how things play out tomorrow and early next week.

I pray say make Bulls dey hammer the market and permanently hammer it for good o. I guess with all the recent restructuring by the NSE, adjustments have been made and stability is returning. I am not also ruling out the signing of the 2008 budget. So many things hover around this budget.

one thing i will say is that investors, please apply caution!!!!!!!!!!!

what i have discovered is that, it is easy to make mistake during the bullish market than bearish season because every coy will be gaining irrespective of fundamentals.

Also that most investors usualy enter at high price, jumping in at a wrong time thinking the bull will stay forever.

as a matter of fact, i wanted the bear to stay till sometime next week before the bull return cause i think some coys are over price and by then they will be good to go in.

wish all of us good luck.

This creates a bit of a problem.

If it is a short bull run (2 weeks for instance), if you are waiting to see if there is a bull run and hop it in 10 days, you probably end up bruised.

If it is not a short bull run, then you end up buying high and reducing your potential profits.

The distinction to be made is wether this is a mini-bull run or one that will last for months for instance. However, this week many stocks got to lows that made them very cheap and ripe for entry irrespective of the fact that the price may fall further.

The bulls showed some weakness at the end of trading yesterday, and that means buyers should watch out! The bears may still be lurking in the shadows waiting to trap some investors money.

The stocks that triggered the bull run like UBA, FBN etc all lost yesterday. Lets see how it plays out today and see if its time to take position fully.

Red face Back to sleep

I think time has truly shown that what happened of late was just a short bull run and i still expect the bears to be around for sometime.

I'm not so sure, but i,m thinking may be for the next 1 or 2 months, but good results of some companies may spring the market back into life. However for now ppl are just taking profit while others are waiting for shares to hit rock-bottom for them to enter. I'm also waiting too!
