Beta Glass no be small company. They are the number one glass manufacturer in the country, the major shareholder in Nigerian Bottling company is the major shareholder in the company. This stock has a large number of foreign investors who hardly sell, Leventis family is an investor in this company.

People are making good money in from of dividend in some funny and unpopular companies like BOC gases, Longman Publishers, Vitafoam, University Press, Consolidated Breweries etc.

They supplied all the breweries, pharmaceuticals, bottling companies etc. You need to visit the factory in Ughelli and the companies they bought in Lagos. That they are not in the news in the Lagos papers like OandO does not mean they are comatose.

Beta glass is exportingn to west african countries. They rebuilt their furnace few years ago. They run on gas which helps their opex.

Good review for Beta Glass for Bra Wanaj0 himself.

They need to work on their profitability. There are too many inefficiencies in the company that need to be scrapped. I have had Boc Gas and Beta Glass on my radar for a long time now and I am still watching. Boc Gas has improved and it the price drops a little from where it is, I will pick it up.

Regardless of the price drop in Beta Glass I am not buying that company until they improve their processes. They are in a good business with near monopoly but their operations is need to be improved. ROE of less than 8% in a company that has tiny competition is not good enough. Just a little push from one of the other competitors and they will fall over the cliff.

I understand now that the market is full of uncertainty a good stock today may be a bad stock tomorrow hence no one could advice so that it will not back fire. However Oga Baoto gave 100% assurance for Ikeja hotel last year and it later became Gold mine for us last year. Since there is no assurance like that this year boys take off..

Oga Nosa 2 I total agree with you. Just like 1 of us said that it is a gamble game. The up side is 60/40. The price from todays outing is below N1 what a price. The main reason being that there is recent result to properly value the stock. My Oga Kod believe it is too risky for adventure. I see reasons with him. I believe that when results start coming out it will be in multiples and proper valuation will be done. Have been assured that AGM must hold this year and results will start rolling in any time from now.
