How will the potential sale of the 3 AMCON banks factor into this? I understand their valuation is to be submitted to CBN this month. There is talk of sale of shares on the NSE floor, mergers, and outright sale. The "mobs" may just buy these banks.

Yes bro. I agree with you. besides I know the capacity of the Mob. The amounts we are seeing recently is beyond what they control (manipulate) ...
But then every piece of data is useful ...

Oh blind me! And I was thinking the three banks have already been sold, and that all that is needed now is some photo ops.

There were 19 gainers and 53 losers on the NSE today. It took a dying minute james bond from Dangote Cement to reduce the loss considerably...Market closed almost flat but that's not the real picture....

In my 8yrs of trading, Mr & Mrs NSE have taught me some bitter lessons (1)You MUST pay your DUES, (2)NEVER be in a haste to beat the MARKET, (3)DONT follow the CROWD. Once again EARNINGS SEASON is around the corner, We have 43 Stocks on the MARKET MAKER's list of which only 4 INSURANCE STOCKS are included namely CUSTODIAN & ALLIED=#2:36k, ROYAL EXCHANGE=#1:33k. AIICO=#1:16 and PRESTIGE ASSURANCE=#1:01, In-essence PRESTIGE happens to be the cheapest among them presently couple with the fact that it has only 2.5Billion OUTSTANDING Shares. BARGAIN HUNTERS what are your takes???
