Can there be a disruptive system attack where stocks to be sold(on offer) can be randomly distributed to bidders(those who want to buy that day) and where all pending offers(of dead stocks like IAA,Afromedia, union diagnostics, union homes, sewing machine, all 50kobo insurance firms or stocks that are hated by investors for now) are randomly distributed to those who want to buy at elevated prices? Has such happened before? Can such happen? If Yes,What does NSE have to protect against such? Example, if I told my broker to buy 5,000 units of Zenith bank at N20 and instead of seeing Zenith, I see 5m units of IAA(stock on strong offer) and other investors/traders that placed either buy/sell order that day see what they didnt ask for, what would the NSE do?

They don't have backup ni? Not even a "cold standby" system.

SIMPLE: They cancel all trades for that day.

Let me go further on that. What if it happens to CSCS? People's portfolio vanishing just like that and the recovery from back-ups also attacked. In today's world, impossibility is nothing ooo.

I simply don't blame guys who won't convert their certificates, nor should I say companies listing on NSE. And Naija for that matter!

Bros I can assure you that you will not "Miss any Opportunities", or your investments by the scenario you painted. These systems have multiple backups, some off site.

Looking at Afriprud at 2.7-2.8. And Mobil @140 is a fair deal. What about Transcorp? Already on bid now
