Just wondering.

If Jonathan had won, will the market be experiencing this sort of upward surge?

Change always brings something positive.

How long the positiveness lasts also matters.

I believe there would have been if there was no violence. It was fear that made people to run away. Many people in the North came back to the South. Somebody was even asking me if i was leaving Lagos to come home and i just laugh saying that Lagos was safe.

What matters is the looser accepting defeat no matter who wins.

I expect the reverse. Do you think that the "type of people" that benefited from the politics money will put them in stocks?

It will be mixture of both. A reverse or stagnation for 1 3 weeks followed by a bull.
The people broke and/or at the "wrong (PDP) side", will dump some stocks.
When the peace reigning is fully confirmed, some investors will come back into the market.
Some foreign investors will be waiting for the inevitable Naira devaluation.
