How i wished i was in the same class with you when you walked out. By now i would have also been a fisherman and a fulltime Landlord that is always on the road everyday collecting heavy rents from several properties all over the place. Do you by any chance know if the course is still being run?. I do not mind getting your type of migrane.

Maybe the big Cap Companies did not loose or they lost marginally. The weight of a loss by NB, First Bank or UBA for instance has a more dragging effect than the loss of an insurance company.

KOD, you should better be on the look out. The big Landlord is coming close to your village to catch big fishes (read as building big Properties). You had better go and buy land now before he takes over all the lands in your village. Once he settles down, all lands will be on bid.

That was the general consensus earlier today, because we are of the opinion that there is nothing in the horizon that looks as if it will lift stock prices. This position is supported by both tecnicals and spirituals alike.

Bros, I take that advise seriously oh! Many thanks. I was thinking about going very short term on some bank stocks like First Bank, GTB and Stanbic but will wait for the bigger cows you guys want to slaughter soon. I hope UBN continues upward swing for a little longer so I can deflate. I sense there will be some flashes in the banks soon. But the general bears may not likely abate until late August.

If only I have been more right than wrong, I would have been a rich landlord like CKens by now!

From where I stand, I expect the market to fall faster but I think like SLS did for SLS banks' depositors, the market is giving people ample opportunity to take their money while it lasts. By the way, whose money are we all chasing at this time of the year? The PMs, PFAs or the waaan5s? They are also waiting on the side line na (see post above). People are selling faster than they are buying.

The only thing that is clear is that the earnings are greatly reduced, either by the banks meltdown or by the harsh business climate. But it cannot continue for long, let's take today as example, the index fell 0.54% according to Oga 123rado. How many days can this level of fall continue before our index hit 19k points which was its lowest point then?
