Default SEC to sanitise the capital market

The Nigerian Securites and Exchange Commission, SEC has reported that it is set to crack down on illegal activites in the capital market to sanitise the market and ensure transparency. Areas of abuse identified include the activities of stockbrokers and registrars involving "illegal sales of clients’ shares, delay in verification of certificates, non-receipts of circular and dividends."
